Metabolic syndrome at baseline was not predictive to new-onset cardiovascular diseases in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: A prospective observational registry

Objective: It has been established that metabolic syndrome is prevalent in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The objective of this study was to investigate the effect at baseline on new-onset cardiovascular disease (CVD) SLE.
